     Walter Disney was born on December 5, 1901. He was born in Chicago, Illinois. His family lived in Chicago for a short amount of time before moving to a farm in Missouri. Walter loved animals and liked to draw as a child.


     Walter Disney is special because he made Mickey Mouse. He had the idea to make Disneyland. He drew Mickey Mouse and then created a voice for him. He made many characters. He made cartoons.


     Walter Disney died on December 15, 1966. He was 65 years old, when he died. He will always be remembered for making Disneyland.
