Babe Ruth

     Babe Ruth was born February 6, 1895 in Baltimore, Maryland. Babe Ruth lived with his mother and father as a small child. He was sent to live at St. Mary's Industrial School for Boys in 1902. Babe liked to play baseball a lot. He did not like school at all.
     Babe Ruth was one of the best baseball players. He was a very powerful hitter. He won seven world series. He was an awesome pitcher. He started out playing for the Boston Red Sox. Then he was sold to the New York Yankees. He played for the Yankees for many years. He ended his career playing for the Boston Braves. 
     Babe Ruth died on August 16, 1948. He was 53 years old when he died. He is still one of the greatest baseball players to play the game.
