Sammy Sosa

     Sammy Sosa was born on November 12, 1968 in San Pedro de Macoris. Sammy Sosa liked baseball a lot as a child. He didn't like school.
    Sammy Sosa became a professional player. He played for the Rangers and White Sox in 1989. He played for the White Sox in 1990 and 1991. He was traded to the Cubs in 1992. He had a great season with the Cubs in 1998. Sammy Sosa hit 66 homeruns. He was the leading hitter on the Cubs. He led the Cubs deep into the playoffs in 2003.
     Sammy Sosa is now 41 years old. He is still a good baseball player. He is now playing for the Texas Rangers.
